Describe the process of adding a worker node to a Docker Swarm.

To add a worker node to a Docker Swarm, you need to follow these steps:

  1. On the manager node, initialize the Docker Swarm using the docker swarm init command. This command will provide you with a join token.

     docker swarm init --advertise-addr <manager-node-ip>

Replace <manager-node-ip> with the IP address of your manager node.

  2. Copy the join token generated in the output.

  3. On the worker node, run the docker swarm join command with the copied join token to join the worker to the Swarm.

docker swarm join --token <worker-token> <manager-node-ip>:2377

Replace <worker-token> with the join token copied from the manager node, and <manager-node-ip> with the IP address of your manager node.

  4. After running the join command, you should see a message indicating that the worker node has successfully joined the Swarm.

Now, the worker node has joined the Docker Swarm. You can now deploy services that will spread across both the manager and worker nodes in the Swarm.
